I was going through the Evening Star from July 15th, 1926 when an advertisement caught my eye.

"I Would Shoot to Kill and I'd Make this Country Bone-Dry in 6 Months."
The man in the photograph was identified as Pussyfoot Johnson, twenty years ago, when he was Chief Prohibition Agent. The ad was promoting his article in the August issue of Hearst's Cosmopolitan. I went and found the article.
